·         Congratulations to the February athletes of the month:  Junior boys basketball:  Cole Paterson and Senior boys basketball:  Mitch Saunders.  Could these boys and the following athletes; Sam Creighton, Sydney Wade, and Jakob Newton come to the Phys -Ed office at the start of lunch to have their pictures taken for the monitor.

 

·         Attention all curlers; There will be a brief meeting on Tuesday at 2:50 in room 237.  We will discuss the playoffs and the year end party.  If you can’t make it see one of the coaches.

 

·         Last night a group of impeccably dressed OT students attended Halton’s first LBGS semi-formal at Burlington Central High School.  The event was a success and could never have  happened without the efforts of Mariko Shimoda, Travis Liu, Dan Podlovics and Simone D’Olivera.  Thank you for your hard work!

 

·         Attention Football players; Hoodie order forms are ready.  See Mr D’Alesio to get one.  Also if you haven’t joined the Facebook group and filled in the spreadsheet please do that before Monday.

 

·         On Thursday Feb 20th OT will be having their very own Valentine’s Day dance.  Tickets will be $10.00 each.  Come get a form from outside the RDC office during periods 3 & 4 in order to get your tickets soon.

 

·         There will be a practice for the Intermediate School Reach team after school today in room 220.  Remember to bring your field trip forms.

 

·         Boys rugby practice today after school has been cancelled.

 

·         The Michael Smith Science Challenge will take place on Tuesday Feb 25th.  This contest is open to students taking grade 9 or 10 science this school year.  See Mrs Bhatnagar in room 213 to sign up and there is NO cost.

 

·         Yesterday our Varsity boys hockey team lost to Georgetown 4 -2.

 

·         Today is our Valentine’s Day Devil Day bake sale.  All clubs are invited to bring in nut-free baked goods to the atrium periods 3 & 4.

 

·         OT Skiers dominated the slopes of Craigleith yesterday with 16 skiers and 9 snowboarders qualifying for OFSAA.
