·         If you registered for a co-op course next year please pick up an application form in guidance or room 136.

·         Congratulations to our senior school REACH team that won yesterday’s tournament at Blakelock.  The OTHS 1 team won every game they played including a nail biter against our rival White Oaks that went to extra questions.  Next stop Halton Championships in April.

·         Beach Party day has arrived and you are invited.  Hit the atrium at lunch to find out if you will be one of the many prize winners.  There is still time to throw in a toonie.

·         Peer tutors have class today.  All peer tutors need to meet Mrs O’Hara in room 237 today at the beginning of period 3.

·         Another successful snowboarding season culminated with a dominating performance by both our girls and boys snowboard athletes at Blue Mountain for this year’s OFSAA.  The girls Level 1 team started strong in their first race and continued to improve on their times throughout the day.  When all the scores were tabulated, Jackie Carlson, Olivia Neary-Hatton, Ellen McGee , Ally Mortensen and Avery McGinnis stood on the podium with Silver, finishing second overall.  Jackie also landed on the individual podium with a very impressive second place.

As the guys took the hill the OT snowboard domination continued.  The guys Level 1team consisting of Will Izzard, Keaton McCallum, Kyle Cestnick, Jack Snell and Justin Reynolds started strong in their first races and continued holding down all day, standing on the podium dressed in First place Gold!  Will Izzard also took home an individual medal as his combined times resulted in him being First Place overall.

The guys Level 2 riders kept the streak alive with an impressive double podium by the Van Hees brothers.  Winning the bronze medal for the individual OFSAA Snowboarding was David Van Hees with older brother in first place top of the podium with another OT Gold.  A huge thanks go out to all the snowboard athletes who competed all season.

·         On March 4th, Right to Play will be hosting a dodgeball tournament during periods 3 & 4.  Sign up for teams will be available in the atrium from Friday to Tuesday.  Cost is $5.00 a person with 5-6 members per team.
