·        Our junior girls rugby players engaged in an hour long, hard fought, outright battle against St Thomas Aquinas yesterday to a 22 -22  tie.  Congrats to Katherine “ Slatts” Slattery who was awarded player of the game and to Kris Fredricks who earned the hard hat.  Our girls play again after school today on our backfield at 3:30.

 

·        Attention senior boys rugby players; would all players who went on the Washington trip and those who ordered clothing please stop by room 116 today at either the end of period 3 or beginning of period 4.

 

·        This is a reminder that applications for the March 2014 Peru International Community Service Trip are due Wed May 22 to Ms Hume in Learning Resources or Mrs  Wheeldon in the science office.

 

·        OT is trying to collect enough pop cans to purchase wheelchairs.  From now until May 22nd every time you drink a can of pop make sure you donate the tab.  There is a red collection box in the cafeteria for you to drop off your pop can tabs.  Every tab counts you can make a difference.

 

·        There will be a very important track meeting today in room 223.  If you are planning on attending the track meet next week you must attend this meeting.  If you cannot attend please see Mrs Cullen or Mrs Grzesik today in room 213.

 

·        Relay for Life will be raising money to shave the beards of your favourite teachers.  There will be jugs on the relay table with pictures of the beards to be shaved; donate to the beard you’d like to see gone the most.

 

·        Today there will be a Wii tournament in the cafe periods 3 & 4.  Bring a friend and a toonie to participate in the game of MarioKart.

 

·        If you need to leave early or arrive late to relay you need to pick up a late arrival/ early leave form from the relay table.
