·         Junior boys basketball tryouts today at 3 pm.

·         Anyone who wants to perform at Open Mic Night needs to come to the theatre for a preview on one of these days right after school; Thursday Nov 13, Friday Nov 14 or Monday Nov 17th.  Open Mic Night is on Thursday Nov 20th and tickets will go on sale during periods 3 & 4 starting Monday in the Atrium.

·         Yesterday afternoon the Sr football team travelled to play a semi-final game against Iroquoise Ridge.  It was a very tight game with both defenses playing very tough and stout.  Despite some great runs, passes, catches, tackles and blocked kicks the team lost a close game 10 – 6.  The players, coaches and managers would like to thank all staff and students for their support and encouragement all season.

·         Skiers and snowboarders are reminded that the first team practice is on Monday.  Be sure to come dressed for training outside and bring your signed forms if you haven’t already dropped them off.

·         Yesterday our Senior boys hockey team hosted their Annual Invitational Early Bird Tournament, the team did well capturing the Consolation Championship by defeating White Oaks 5 – 0.  Tournament MVP was Jordan Boulding.  A great tournament was also had by one of our goaltenders, Aidan Hosein, who didn’t allow a goal in the two games he played in.  Congratulations boys on a good start to your season.

·         All drama classes are reminded to be in the theatre for the start of period 2.  The Drama performance will begin at 9:45 sharp!

·         The OFSAA bound volleyball team lost 3 -1 yesterday, probably because of the change in leadership.  The game meant very little though as the boys have already made it into OFSAA and our hearts.
