·         40 hours of community involvement are a requirement of graduation.  Grade 9 students at OT submit their hours through the hour republic website.  Counsellors are available today to help grade 9 students that have not yet registered on hour republic.  Come to computer lab 121 today during your lunch period for help logging in, for answers to any questions you may have about volunteering and recording of hours and also to find out about volunteer opportunities.  This is lab 121 today during both lunch periods for grade 9 students only.

 

·         The Robotics team had a great trip to Calgary this past week for the second Western Canada Regional Competition held in Olympic Oval at the University of Calgary.  The team won the Imagery Award and the Excellence Award plus were finalists on the field. Connor Sparling was named as one of two Dean’s List Finalists.  This award is named after First Founder and Segway inventor Dean Kamen.  Ten award winners will be selected at the Championships in St Louis at the end of the month.

 

·         There will be NO senior boys’ soccer practice today.  Instead players are encouraged to go for a run on their own.  Next practice is tomorrow at 3 pm

 

·         Attention Springfest volunteers; there will be a meeting tomorrow morning at 7:40 in the Library.

 

·         All Longboard club members please check the door outside the construction room for updated build schedule.

 

·         For those of you who signed up to perform at Open Mic Night; there will be previews this Thursday right after school in the Theatre.  If you want to be part of Open Mic Night you must come to previews in order to be in the program and on stage.
