·         Candy grams are on sale for $1.00.  Get them today and tomorrow in the atrium.


·         The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award club will be meeting after school on Wednesday this week in the library.  If you have not received your participant book or instructions come by guidance to pick those up prior to the meeting on Wednesday.


·         Tomorrow from 5:30 – 8:30 come down to the Boston Pizza on Winston Park Drive by the Cineplex Theatre.  For this day your very own OT students will be waiting tables with up to 15% of the night’s sales going towards Relay 4 Life. Don’t forget to make a reservation today during periods 3 & 4 by the atrium.


·         A reminder that deposits for the Baltimore rugby trip are due today.  Please see Mr Schaffler or Mr Valley if there is a problem.


·         The final count for We Create Change is in.  In 3rd place we have Mrs Anjos’ class, in 2nd place we have Mr Rennie’s class and in first place we have Mr Murphy’s class.  Thank you to everyone who donated; together we raised enough money to buy 30 goats !!!


·         The junior girls volleyball team played strong in their tournament at Assumption on Friday, finishing second in their pool.  In their semi-final game against Blakelock they lost two very close sets to be eliminated, but the girls played with heart and style.


·         The SOS group is giving out tasty treats to anyone who finds one of our cards around the school.  Bring the card to the SOS table during your lunch for a candy cane and the chance to win a holiday prize.


·         Junior boys basketball practice is cancelled today after school.


·         Remember to bring in your old books to the book drive this Tuesday and Wednesday to win an amazing Christmas basket and support global development.


·         This past Friday our varsity boys hockey team traveled to Joshua Creek arena to play the Trailblazer of Iroquois Ridge.  Despite taking 4 straight penalties to start the game the Devils found themselves tied up at zeros after the first period.  The team got going with 2 power play goals in the second and hung on for a 2 – 0 victory.  Scoring for the Devils was Luke Roy and Mitch “ Freight Train”  Dennis.  In goal and recording the shut- out was Aidan Hosien.


·         Tuesday December 16th Ms Muzzati’s grade 12 drama class will be showcasing their talent through a variety of scenes from 7 – 9:30 in the Theatre.  Tickets are $2 for students and $5 for adults.
