·         This past weekend, OT’s Robotics team competed at the North Bay Regional in North Bay.  The team did very well even making it to the elimination rounds.  Unfortunately the team did not place but have already qualified for World Championships in mid- April.  Good job to all students and can all students come down for a meeting this afternoon in the CAD Lab.


·         On April 15th Right to Play will be hosting a dodgeball tournament during periods 3 &4.  Sign up for teams will be available in the atrium both lunch periods starting Wednesday.  The cost is only $5.00 a person with 5 members per team.


·         Reminder to students interested in the Track team there is a meeting today after school in room 153.


·         This Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday during fourth period in the atrium there will be a table where you can donate your old books.  These books will be donated to Books without Bounds and given to aboriginal Canadian youth in need.  Come down and drop off your slightly used books.


·         This past Friday our Junior boys hockey team hosted their annual Invitation hockey tournament at Ice Sports.  The team did well defeating Burlington Central and Milton District but losing to the overall Champion the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame.  Tournament MVP was Kyle Kennery.  Next action is tomorrow when they participate in the Burlington Cup.


·         Ontario Model Parliament participants; there is a mandatory meeting after school in room 118 at 3:00. Last minute details will be covered.


·         Calling all grade 11 or 12 students who wish to challenge their knowledge of chemistry; sign up now for the University of Waterloo chemistry contests.  Sign up outside room 211 or online on Mrs McPhee’s website before April 9th.  The contests are written in May.
