·         The Robotics team had a great trip to North Bay for the new regional competition held at Nipissing University.  36 teams from around Ontario competed including all seven HDSB teams.  Against the odds we won our first quarter final against the number 1 alliance but unfortunately lost the next two.  The team won the Entrepreneurship Award and founding mentor Mrs Pat Decker won the Woodie Flowers Finalist Award.  Pat is our third mentor to win this award.  The robot and all our equipment left North Bay after the event and headed to Calgary where many of the team members will join it for the Regional Competition held there next weekend.
