·         This past Friday our varsity girls soccer team hosted the 27th Annual Halton Cup at Shell Park.  Despite only having 11 players all tournament the girls posted a 2 and 2 record, good enough for the Consolation Finalist Plaque.

·         Hey Relayers; don’t forget to visit the atrium during your lunch to come decorate your luminary for Relay for Life.  For every extra $5 luminary your team gets bonus points and a chance to be the dream team.  You can also submit pictures, pieces of art, poems or the reason you relay at the same time for the wall of hope.

·         There are 28 million cancer survivors worldwide.  This number is on its way up thanks to research by the Canadian Cancer Society.  Keep raising money for Relay to help.

·         Relay is hosting a teacher beard shaving at Springfest.  If you want to see your favourite teachers with clean-shaven faces come to the atrium to start donating because each teacher needs to have $70 raised.

·         Bank days for Relay for life will be starting today periods 3 and 4 and will run until the 26th.  Come down to room 136 at lunch to start handing in  your pledge forms.  Also if you haven’t started fundraising NOW is the time to start.  Tanen Baumchat School in Toronto has already raised over $158,000 and we want to be the top fundraising school in Ontario!

·         A reminder to Junior and Senior boys rugby players that you can pick up your jerseys during period 3 in room 132.
