  • Every day across our country hundreds of thousands of students stay home for fear of being bullied.  That means those students lose the opportunity to learn.  It is every student’s right to feel safe and be safe in school.  Bullying can happen to anyone.  No one ever deserves to be bullied.  Everyone has the right to be safe.

Come to the atrium during period 3 & 4 to sign the pledge.

  • Just a reminder that tickets are now on sale in the atrium at lunch for the upcoming Variety show, $7 for students and $10 for adults.  There will be raffles throughout the evening and you could win a fabulous prize.  All proceeds go to Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

  • Are you interested in a career in television production?  Do you have any experience?  You won’t get a job in this market without experience or contacts.  Cogeco Cable is looking for co-op students to work as production assistants second semester.  See Mrs Stearns Brown in room 136 if interested.

  • Students interested in doing a placement at Oakville Trafalgar Hospital need to see Mrs Stearns Brown in room 136 ASAP.  There are a variety of placements available.

  • This past Thursday and Friday our Varsity boys’ hockey team traveled to Burlington to participate in the Wave Invitational.  On Thursday the boys defeated Iroquois Ridge 4-0 and lost to Ridley College 2-0 and on Friday the boys won both their games.  Regular season starts Wednesday.

  • On Saturday the Robotics team participated in the Santa Claus parade.  The theme of the float was about Santa’s educational toy workshop and it was a big success.
