·         This is a reminder to all grade 9 students who are taking part in this February’s trip to St Donate, Quebec; there is a brief but very important meeting today right after school in room 116.

·         Make sure you buy a candy gram from Soldier On today during periods 3 & 4 for only $2.00.

·         Do you ever find spare change in your house?  Well bring it in to your 5th period class between December 1 – 12 to support Free the Children.  For every $50.00 raised it buys one goat for a family in need.  Also the class that raises the most money will win a Pizza Party!

·         Reminder the senior basketball team needs to meet in the atrium at 2:30 for their game at Holy Trinity.

·         Earn four credits; teach Earthkeepers to kids, learn hands-on skills outside in the forests of the Niagara Escarpment, make new friends and go on an adventure trip in Algonquin Park.  For more information on the Bronte Creek Project or Trailhead visit their display table at lunch today in the atrium or visit their website www.brontecreekproject.org

·         There will be a Devils Do Good meeting today after school in room 202.

·         Yesterday the varsity boys hockey team traveled to Oakville arena to play the Tabbies of Blakelock.  The boys found themselves up 2-0 going into the third and worked hard but could not hold back the Tabbies attack along with some poorly timed penalties which allowed Blakelock to tie the game 2-2. Scoring for the Devils was Robbie Fornasiero and Luke Roy.  Today the boys leave for Toronto to participate in the 35th Annual Aurther Memorial tournament.

·         The senior Jazz Ensemble will be auditioning to fill the position of bassist in this exciting group beginning in January.  This ensemble plays music in all sorts of styles including swing, Latin, funk, and rock at school concerts, community events and music competitions.  You must be able to read music and have a positive attitude.  If you are interested come by the Music room to arrange a time to audition for Mr Clarke.
