·         Peru participants; we will have a brief 5 minute meeting after school today in room 104.  No excuses be there!


·         Yesterday our varsity boys hockey team ended their season with a loss to Holy Trinity 3 – 1.  Today they will finish off the year with a tournament in Toronto.


·         Attention all aspiring Engineers, the Oakville Chapter of Professional Engineers of Ontario is hosting its fifth FREE National Engineering Month event this Saturday March 1, 2014 at Holy Trinity High School from 9:30 – 3.  Activities will run all day and you can talk to Engineers from a diverse array of disciplines.  Lunch is free!


·         There is a mandatory meeting of the Dead Poets Society today after school in the library conference room.  We’ll be taking the group picture so bring a smile.


·         Today is the last day to visit the Halton Food for Thought booth in the atrium.  Bring your toonies and pledge to Live Free of anything you choose. Each time you donate a toonie you get a chance to win a fabulous prize.  The draws will be held tomorrow during the lunches at the 1st annual Halton Food for Thought Beach Party.


·         Grade 12’s Gotcha sign up start today outside the RDC office 3rd and 4th period.  Don’t miss out and remember to watch your back!


·         This is a reminder to anyone interested in writing the National Biology competition.  It will be 50 challenging multiple choice questions based on grade 12 biology.  If you do well you can earn scholarships and prestige.  The contest is Thursday April 24 and you need to see Mr Rennie in room 213 before March 4th and bring $7.00
