·         Yesterday the Jr boys soccer team played a strong game against Gaetan-Gervais winning 13 -1.


·         Congratulations to the athletes of the month for April; for junior badminton Jordan Grist and for senior badminton Jamie Liang.  Please remember to come down to the phys ed office to have your picture taken to be acknowledged on the monitor outside the fitness center.


·         On May 5th we will be hosting an Ultimate Frisbee tournament to support the organization, Right to Play.  This charity supports kids around the world who are unable to afford sports equipment and who don’t have access to safe places to play.  To participate in the tournament sign up at the Right to Play booth during periods 3 & 4.  Each player needs to pay $5.00 and teams will be made up of 10 people.  For more information come to the Right to Play table during lunch and pick up a permission form.


·         All senior tennis team members who want to go to the Invitational Tournament on Monday at York must come to a brief meeting after school today in room 232.


·         For those students writing the Waterloo Physics Contest it will be held today during periods 3 & 4 in the physics room.


·         Attention semester 1 Construction Students; if you have any projects still in the shop please arrange to remove them by Friday May 9th or they will be disposed of.


·         Weather permitting there will be a junior girls tennis practice today after school at Maple Grove Courts.


·         Yesterday our junior girls rugby team began their season with a dominant 32 – 0 victory over Holy Trinity.  Winner of the game ball was Simone Oliveira and hard hat was earned by Stephanie Schooling.
