·         Congratulations to the junior tennis team for their outstanding result yesterday at the Halton/GHAC tennis tournament.  The junior team won the tournament for the second year in a row.  Kate Medd won silver in girls singles in a close final match that lasted 1 ½ hours.  Andrew Aling and Jeffery Smith annihilated all of their opponents through 4 matches to win gold.  Josh Hill  and Nicole Paldino were strong in all of their matches and Nicole continued to play after twisting her ankle in the warm up for their second match through 3 more matches until the final where they also came in 1st.  Alex Wilson was invincible in all of his matches winning all of them 6-0 and winning the boys singles gold medal.  The juniors would like to challenge the senior team to a match after school today at the courts beside Maple Grove Arena.  Team pictures will be taken and all students who played on the junior and senior tennis teams this year should come to celebrate our excellent results this season.
