·         This week is your last week to buy your 50/ 50 ticket.  Tickets are on sale in the atrium periods 3 & 4.  All proceeds go to the soldier on fund.

·         On April 17th, Free the Children will be participating in the We are Silent, formerly known as Vow of Silence.  Millions of people do not have a voice, whether that be in slavery, child labour, or bullying.  Choose what you want to go silent for.

·         Congratulations to Katie Chalmers, Erika Taylor, Brad Coulter and Jakob Newton who placed 1st and 3rd in their respective divisions at yesterday’s school bridge tournament in Toronto.

·         Enjoy letting your frustration out with a soothing game of ping pong.  Come to the Table Tennis club Wednesday after school in the cafeteria.

·         This is a reminder that a representative from Lakehead University will be here between 12 – 1 today in the Office Conference room to give out information and answer questions.

·         Peru Participants; this is a reminder of the Canada World Youth Post trip session tomorrow from 12:15 – 2 in the main office conference room.

·         Tomorrow’s spirit day will be PJ Day!  Come down to the café during lunch to play some Mario Kart.  Hopefully all you RDC dressed in red and black today and we will see you in the café at lunch for some friendly ping pong.

·         It has been a great couple of days for OT’s Badminton teams.  Last week the seniors took part in the Halton preliminaries;  qualifying for the Halton Championship tournament were Danielle Cambone-Manell, Sabrina Khorshed, Jamie Liang, Frank Yu and John Zhou.  Yesterday the juniors played in the Halton East tournament at OT and team A went undefeated which qualifies them for the upcoming Halton Championship.  Congrats to Jordan Grist, Linda Li, Remi Reader, Wilson Reading, Willa Yuan, Ragini Singh, Henry Follows and Kylie Kattis.

·         For those who missed last weeks’ previews but still want to perform at Open Mic Night come to the theatre after school tomorrow.  If you cannot make this final preview opportunity see Mrs Collett in the Library.
