·         The winner of Wellness Council raffle to support Parkinson’s Disease is Meaghan Hiscocks.

 

·         Congratulations to the junior boys’ rugby team on their season opening wins against Christ the King 60 -0 and against Loyola 39 – 20. 

 

·         Congratulations to the senior boys rugby team on their wins against Christ the King 29 -12 and against Loyola 54 – 12.

 

·         There will be a junior girls’ tennis practice today after school at the Maple Grove Courts.

 

·         All members of the Varsity girls’ soccer team are asked to attend a short meeting after school today at the PE office.

 

·         Open Mic tickets are now on sale during periods 3 & 4 in the Atrium.  They are only $5.00 so come out on Thursday May 1st and be entertained by your fellow students and teachers.

 

·         This is the last day to take advantage of going on a Blind Date with a Book and a chance to win the chocolate goodie basket.  Come in the Library today and check out a blind date book and enter your name in the draw.  The lucky winner will be announced on Wednesday.

 

·         Tonight’s junior boys’ rugby practice is cancelled.  If you have clothing money please see Mr Schaffler today in room 132.

 

·         Yesterday the junior boys’ soccer team played their first 2 games against Milton & Bateman.  Both games were won 4 – 2 and 6 -1 respectively. 

 

·         Track team practice starts today after school…on the track…see you there.

 

·         Anyone who would like to run for Student Council next year please pick up an application package in the main office.  This must be completed and returned to Ms Savoie by 3:00 on Thursday May 1st.  Applicants must attend a meeting on Tuesday May 6th and elections will be held on May 7th and 8th.

 

·         If you are looking to venture deeper into the world of logic and reasoning come to our Math Club.  The first meeting will be tomorrow in room 216.  Also if you are interested in competing at the Halton Math Contest either as a group of 3 or individually more information regarding this contest will be provided at this meeting.
