·         A reminder to all JR Football players of your team banquet that will take place tomorrow Dec 11th in the cafeteria.  Although the banquet will run from 3:30 to 5:30 all those players who have still not returned their CLEAN equipment will be able to do so before the banquet starts.  If you are unable to attend speak to one of the coaches by tomorrow.

 

·         Every year many Canadians suffer in the cold harsh winters due to the lack of clothing.  To help this cause we will be collecting clothing donations during periods 4 in the atrium to donate to the Salvation Army.  We will be collecting this week and next.

 

·         Candy Grams are back!  Ride your reindeers into the atrium periods 3 and 4 to purchase them quick before they are sold out.

 

·         Have you considered writing the Advanced Placement Exams in May?  A score of 4 or 5 on the AP exam could earn you a University credit or advanced standing or both.  See Guidance for further AP information.

 

·         Today our varsity boys’ hockey team travels to Joshua Creek to host the Titans of Holy Trinity at 3:15. 

 

·         Rebecca’s Gift Drive continues this week.  You have until Thursday to donate items like gift cards, clothing or electronics to the Halton Children’s Aid to allow every child to wake up to something this Christmas. 

 

·         Today the senior girls volleyball team travels to STA for a 3 game tournament.

 

·         Yearbook club meets today after school in the art room.

 

·         Kerr Street Ministries is looking for hats, mittens and scarves to keep the homeless warm this winter.  Please donate to Wellness Council’s Mitten Tree located in front of the main office.

 

·         Free the Children is reaching out to OT to help create change by bringing in change to your period 5 class to raise money to build schools in developing countries.  Remember the class who raises the most money wins a pizza party.
