·         Are you creative and love taking pictures?  Come join our yearbook club Tuesday after school in the art room. 

·         All snowboard team members involved in Wednesday’s race need to meet for a brief meeting after school in Room 161. 

·         Attention all curlers: there will be a brief meeting today at 2:50 p.m. in Room 237 for all curlers.  We will discuss the playoffs and the year end party.  If you can’t make the meeting, please be sure to see one of the coaches. 

·         Any skiers planning to train Slalom tomorrow at Mansfield must see Mr. Pope in Guidance by 11:00 a.m. this morning. 

·         Students are reminded that their course selections are due in MyBlueprint by next Monday at the latest.  We encourage you to go online tonight and finalize your selections, that way if you have trouble you have time to see a guidance counsellor this week. 

·         The Pascal, Cayley and Fermat Math Contest will be written on Thursday, February 20, during Period 1 in the Cafeteria.  Please be sure to have a pencil and calculator.  Go directly to the cafeteria at the start of the day.  A list of participants can be found outside the Math and Science Office. 

·         Can you be religious and gay, bisexual, lesbian or transgendered?  How can you respond to bigotry in your own place of worship?  Come out to breaking ground on LGBT Faith Wednesday, February 19th (tomorrow) at 3:00 p.m. in Room 212.  For an enlightening talk on spirituality and LGBT Faith.  OT’s gay straight alliance.  All are welcome. 

·         Last week 45 OTHS students participated in the Provincial DECA competition in Toronto.  Please congratulate the following students who placed in the top 10 in their Oral Events:  Fernando L., Patrick S., Liam N., Sahil T., Stephan H., Kristo D., Shanice N., Kia F., Briana R., Jordan K., Annie S., Jacqueline K.    Special congratulations to Briana R. who placed in the TOP 10 OVERALL at the DECA Ontario Provincial Competition! 

·         It may be a week late but better late than never!  This Thursday is OT’s St. Valentine’s Dance.  Pick up a form from outside the RDC office this week in order to get your tickets ASAP!  This may be our only dance for this year OT so let’s make it a great one! 

·         To all students who were supposed to receive Crush Grams on Friday but did not, you can pick up your Crush Gram in the RDC office during periods 3 and 4 TODAY ONLY.
