·         Yesterday our varsity boys hockey team began their play –offs with a loss to Milton 4 -2 and a victory over MM Robinson 2 – 0.  This puts them in the quarter finals on Wed.


·         Just a reminder that training for Radio OT is going on this week.  Come to the Comm Tech room during your lunch or spare to get trained.


·         All students who have signed up for the Michael Smith Science Challenge are to go to room 216 at the start of period 4 today. You can bring your lunch if you want.


·         Free the Children will be meeting after school today in room 190.


·         All grade 9 and 10 boys interested in playing junior hockey for the school are asked to attend an important meeting today after school in room 153.


·         Any boys interested in playing senior boys soccer meet after school Wednesday in room 197.


·         Tomorrow the 26th OT will be having our 2nd semester Club Fair.  Come to the atrium periods 3 & 4 to explore all of OT’s Clubs.  Clubs bring your posters and a sign -up sheet.


·         All snowboarders going to OFSAA meet Mr Burton at the end of the day for a brief meeting.  Bring your equipment if you want tuning.


·         Do you like Manga and Anime?  Do you want to meet more Anime fans?  OT now has its very own Anime Club!  Come to room 116 on Friday after school.


·         Have you ever wondered what it would be like to go back in time?  Today for a small donation of $2.00 to the Halton Food for Thought you can see what it’s really like to live without your technology for one day!  Come to the atrium at lunch and pledge to LIVE FREE of your cell phone for one day.  You will also get a chance at a prize to be drawn on Friday.


·         Do you like Biology?  Well then why not write the National Biology Competition?  You get to answer 50 challenging multiple choice questions based on Grade 12 biology.  If you do well you can earn scholarships and prestige.  Then contest is Thursday April 24 and if you are interested see Mr Rennie in room 214 before March 4th and bring $7.00.
