·         Just a reminder that the Alex Corrance Memorial ball hockey tournament is this Saturday in the Ice Sports parking lot.  Any interested teams are asked to sign up at the BTNL training facility in the Canlan Ice Sports building.

·         Congratulations to the athletes of the month for June:  Junior girls rugby – Maddy Gould, Senior girls rugby – Emma Henry, Junior boys rugby- Mark Van Hees, Senior boys rugby- Alex Konrad, Junior girls tennis- Melody Thomson, and Junior boys tennis- Ben Hamburg.  Remember to come down to the phys ed office at lunch today to have your picture taken.

·         Volunteers are still needed for the New Central Public School Spring Fair on June 14th from 10 am to 2pm.  Come to the main office for more information.

·         Are you stressed out about exams?  Come to this Saturday’s Light up the Darkness glow Stick Jam at Power Yoga Oakville.  Get some much needed relief before exams and have a blast to raise funds for teen mental health.  See the poster at the top of the main stairs and join the Facebook event Light up the Darkness Glow Stick Jam.

·         Thursday is Election Day.  Please do not park on the Family Studies, Tech, PE, Art side of the building.  Know also that the bathrooms in the PE hallway will be off limits for the day.  We will have signs up all over the building directing voters where to go but we are looking for volunteers to act as ambassadors.  If you have a spare and can help or you need volunteer hours sign up in the main office.

·         The timetable for 2014-15 has been completed.  Lists with the names of students with timetable conflicts for next year have been posted around the school and emailed to teachers.  Please take the time to check one of the lists.  If your name appears on this lest come to guidance during a spare or lunch so that your timetable can be finalized.    At this point we will only make changes to student timetables where there is an absolute need.  Conflicts must take priority over other changes.  Student wishing to make further changes to their timetable will have the opportunity to do so in August.
