·         On May 12th Nepal was struck by its second earthquake within the last month.  More than 16,000 have been injured and more than 8,000 have been killed from the combination of the two earthquakes.  Come show your support by participating in OT’s second Nepal Day on May 22nd or by visiting the donation table during your lunch.  Change needs to happen now so come show your support.

·         Habitat for Humanity is offering 19 new co-op positions for next year.  All positions are in Burlington or Milton so you would need your own transportation.  See Mrs Stearns Brown for details.

·         Attention LGBTQ students and allies;  The 2nd Annual Halton- wide Pride semi-formal is this Thursday at 7PM at Frank Hayden.  If you are looking for other LGBTQ students and allies this is the dance for you. Tickets are for sale during lunch in the atrium for only $10.  Don’t miss this opportunity.

·         We hope everyone is busy collecting money in their Relay for Life pledge forms and on-line.  The absolute latest deadline is next Tuesday May 26th but please be aware that the later you come the longer the line- up will be.  Also you can still continue to fundraise online once you hand in your pledge form, and you must hand in your form even if it is empty.  So come to room 136 on your lunch and get your donations in as soon as possible.  The top 10 fundraisers will be entered in a draw to win awesome prizes like a TV.

·         If you are interested in doing a co-op placement at the Oakville Trafalgar hospital in September see Mrs Stearns Brown in room 136.

·         Attention Wind Ensemble members; please come after school today to drop off your music from this year.  There will not be a rehearsal.
