·        Attention Senior badminton players; its picture time!  Please meet in the atrium right after school tomorrow to be in the SR team photo for the yearbook.


·        Wind Ensemble members and any concert band members who are participating  the “graduation band” have a rehearsal today after school until 4 !


·        Attention senior tennis team members; the entries for the Halton tournament are posted in the guidance window.  All high school players should come to the Wallace Park after school today to practice.


·        Attention junior girls tennis team; provided there is no rain, there will be a tennis practice today after school.


·        Our Red Devil junior girls rugby team continued their undefeated season on Friday dominating Georgetown 72 -0.  Congrats to the game ball winner Emma Sande and HardHat went to Emily Marshall.


·        Hey OT; want to see your favorite teachers shave their beards and wax their legs?  Donate money TODAY to the relay table to see it tomorrow!


·        This is a reminder that applications for the March 2014 Peru International Community Service trip are due Wed May 22 to Ms Hume in Learning Resources or Mrs Wheeldon in the science office.


·        The varsity boys soccer team had a successful showing at the OT Annual tournament.  The boys won the first game 3-0, lost the 2nd game but then won the consolation championship 1-0 against Blakelock.    The coaches wish the graduating boys all the best next year including Mike Impey, Steven Jean, Druv Gupta and Nikki Perdec.


·        There will be a brief but important meeting for the track team today after school in room 223.


·        One of the highest honor for a graduating student is to be selected by one’s peers as the class Valedictorian.  Your four nominees for Valedictorian are Simon Cheng, Nikki Perdec, Brandon Stegmaier and Victoria Wiebe.  The class of 2013 Valedictorian will be voted on at the Grad breakfast this Thursday morning at 8:00.   Grads are invited to come to the breakfast to hear the nominees speak and to cast their ballot.  You must be present in order to vote.  Any questions can be directed to Guidance.


·        All relay for life participants.  The top 10 fundraisers will be entered into a draw to win a spa gift certificate and a hockey jersey.  So get your money in this week !!
