·         This is a reminder that the Animal Rights Club will be having its next meeting tomorrow after school upstairs in room 223.

 

·         Attention Free The Children!  Just a reminder there is a meeting today after school in room 190.

 

·         Any grade 9 or 10 student who wishes to try out for the Intermediate School Reach team is invited to attend a short meeting after school tomorrow in room 220.  See Mrs Cruickshank if unable to attend.

 

·         The DECA executive list is now posted in room 232.  All DECA executive members are reminded of the mandatory meeting today after school in room 232.

 

·         Are you thinking about studying abroad?  Come to OT’s 2nd Annual International University Mini Fair this Thursday featuring reps from the UK’s University of Brighton and Queen Mary University of London plus more…That’s this Thursday during periods 3 & 4 in the atrium.

 

·         Attention all members of the Environmental Club and Animals Rights Club:  This is your last chance to participate in the Halton Children’s Water Festival on Wed. Sept 25th.  If you would like to participate you must come to see Mrs Wheeldon today during first half of period 3 in room 213.  You must also take part in the training during period 4 TODAY in the health room.

 

·         Calling all Long Boarders:  OT will be creating a brand new club for those interested in making your own longboard.  The first meeting will take place this Wed after school in room 162.  All students are welcome from beginner to expert level.  Fully customizable- cut, glue, sand, paint and build.

 

·         The Interact Club will meet on Wednesday after school in the library for this week only.  Next week’s meeting will resume on Tuesday after school

 

·         A reminder that Computer Club meets in room 197 Tues & Thurs during period 3 & 4

 

·         This Saturday Sept 21st the Oakville Fire Department is hosting their annual Fire Prevention week kick off.  They need 80 students to go and help them out because their primary school dropped out last minute.  Students will receive volunteer hours for their help.  If you are interested in attending see Mr Woods to collect forms.

 

·         Wish you bought an SPC card?  There are 13 cards left.  Bring in $9.00 in exact change to Mrs Brooks in the main office any time today.

 

·         The JR Girls Field Hockey team played their first game of the season last night against Corpus Christie.  The girls played outstanding and tied the game 1-1.

 

·         The Senior Girls Field Hockey team opened their season yesterday with a 9 – 0 win over Corpus Christie.  Player of the game was Zoe Scott.
