·         The junior and senior volleyball teams both won against Craig Kielburger last night in straight sets.  There was a great serving streak by Maddie Dunn and amazing sets by Bridget Peros.  The girls play here at OT tomorrow after school.

 

·         Attention grade 11’s and 12’s:  Today is the day Winter Formal is here!  Please note that doors close at 7:30 pm and there will be no re-entry into the event.  If you haven’t already picked up  your tickets drop by RDC office today at lunch to pick them up.

 

·         Yesterday the varsity boys hockey team hosted the Chargers of Garth Webb.  The boys came out flat and found themselves down early 1 -0 but pulled it slowly together as the game wore on to post an 8 -2 victory.  Scoring for the Devils was Liam Keery, Robbie Fornasiero, Adam Goraieb, Craig Cook, and Jordan Boulding and Liam Coderre with two each. 

 

·         Attention junior football players: today is your last chance to return your football equipment come to the equipment room after school.

 

·         If you are interested in attending the Honduras trip, the deadline has been extended to this Friday.  If we do not have the minimum number of students by Friday the trip will be cancelled.

 

·         Knitting Club is cancelled tonight.

 

·         Got ugly sweaters at home?  Are they yelling at you to wear them?  This Friday you can make them happy and look good at the same time.  This Friday bring your ugly Christmas attire for Festive Sweater Day!

 

·         On Tuesday Dec 16th from 5:30 – 8:30 come down to the Boston Pizza on Winston Park Dr by the Cineplex theatre.  For this day only your very own OT students will be waiting tables with up to 15% of the night’s sales going towards Relay 4 Life.  The more the merrier because any group with more than 10 people gets entered to win an awesome prize.

 

·         Wanna help make change?  Here’s how you can make a difference by donating your extra change to the Free the Children Club.  Bring in your spare change to your 5th periods class and if you raise over $50.00 you can buy a goat for a family in a 3rd world country.  The class that raises the most money wins a Pizza Party.
