·         Imagine being a parent and losing your 5 year old daughter to the flu. Five year old Rebecca passed away from the flu, and in her memory her parents have created an annual gift drive called Rebecca’s Gift. This year Red Devils’ Council has decided to team up with this amazing organization. OT, please bring “teen” gifts to the RDC office from this Monday December 2nd to December 12th. Thank you.

·         Jersey Day is this Friday. Wear any jersey on Friday to support National Jersey Day.

·         There will be an Environmental Club meeting today after school in the bio room (Rm 223). New members are always welcome. This is an important meeting so please make it a priority to be there.

·         Did you sign up for the Duke of Edinburgh Award? The program materials are in. If you missed the meetings last week, come to Guidance to pick up your book.

·         Come one, come all, to the show of the year! Tickets for Suessical are now here! It’s going to be an amazing show. And the office is where you need to go. There you’ll find a ticket order sheet. So get yours in today, to get the best seats!

·         This is a reminder that this is the last week to get your Grad photo taken. If you have not booked an appointment yet, come to the main office to get a brochure, or to the staff room to speak to the photographer. The photographers will be leaving mid-afternoon on Friday.

·         Junior Girls Volleyball had their first game of the season against Frank Hayden. The girls had an amazing game, winning their second set 25-20 and fought to win the third set 18-16. The girls did amazing pulling together as a team!  Well done Devils!

·         Peru participants: This is a reminder of the Parent and Student meeting on Wednesday November 27 at 6:30 pm in the OT Library.

·         Business SHSM participants, please pick up your certificates from Mrs. Farquharson in the business office (Rm 238) during Period 3 or 4.

·         Eighty percent of people diagnosed with depression can be treated and return to their usual activities and feelings. This Friday SOS wants you to write LOVE on your arms to raise awareness that recovery is possible and hope is real.

·         Today the varsity boys’ hockey team travels to Glen Abbey Arena to take on the Eagles of Abbey Park. Would teachers please excuse members of the team at 2:00 pm. Thank you and good luck Devils.
