·         Today is the final day to vote for your RDC grade reps.  Come to the RDC office period 3 or 4 with your student card to vote.


·         Peru March 2014 participants; There will be a parent and student meeting next Wed Sept 25th from 6:30 – 8:30 in the OT library.  This is a mandatory meeting!


·         There will be an Animal Rights Club meeting today after school in room 223.


·         Students interested in DECA remember to hand in your forms and money by Tuesday Sept 24th.  Also the first meeting will take place that day as well.


·         Computer Club meets in room 197 Tuesdays and Thursdays during periods 3 & 4.


·         Reminder the first meeting for the new Longboard Club will be today after school in room 162.


·         If you have a period 5 spare go to the school store to pick up your school photos.


·         Pick up your yearbook at the Devils Pit.


·         Investigate culture, independence, travel and career advantages of attending international universities TOMORROW during periods 3 & 4 in the atrium.  There will be representation from 6 international universities and 2 international educational service consultants representing multiple schools.  Don’t miss OT’s 2nd annual international university mini-fair during periods 3 & 4


·         The Interact Club will meet today after school in the library for this week only.  Next week meetings will resume on Tuesday after school.


·         Members of OT’s Gay Straight Alliance; there will be a brief meeting of our group at the beginning of period 3 today in the library.


·         Are you creative and love taking pictures?  Come join our yearbook club Tuesdays after school in the art room.


·         To all senior students; if you are driving to school you must have a parking pass to park in the OT parking lot.  Please return your signed Student Parking Contract to the main office as soon as possible.


·         Any grade 9 or 10 students who wish to try out for the Intermediate School Reach team is invited to attend a short meeting after school today in room 220.


·         Grads, today is the day you can find out about how to earn your share of scholarship money available to Canadian Students each year.  Scholarships are not just for students with high marks.  Students with community and school involvement are also great candidates for most of these scholarships.  Winning a scholarship looks great on a resume and invited to a lunchtime information session during the first half of period 3 and the first half of period 4 in room 191 today.


·         Yesterday the JR girls’ basketball team played Bishop Reding Royals and played well but lost the game 37-20.  Practice today after school.


·         In order to promote a healthier lifestyle every week OT’s Wellness Council will be posting a health tip and healthy recipe for you to try out.  Check our bulletin board upstairs by the main staircase every week for a new tip and recipe.


·         There will be a Wellness Council meeting tomorrow after school in room 202.  New members are always welcome.
