·         On October 9th Craig Kielburger, founder of Free the Children and Me to We, will give a keynote address entitled:  Kids Who Care- Creating a Different World.  Learn how to make a difference in this bad-news world.  Tickets available at


·         Attention Model UN members:  there will be a meeting after school today in room 118 for everyone attending the SSUNS trip to McGill.  New members also welcome.


·         The first meeting for the Computer Club/Makers will be held in room 197 at 2:55 today.  New members welcome.


·         Do you like to be creative?  Join Art Club Thursday after school in room 162.


·         This is a message for all grade 11 and 12 students; OTHS’s Right to Play committee needs you.  If you are responsible and work well as part of a team come to room 112 after school today.


·         Please pick up your SPC cards form the DECA table at lunch today.  Cards will not be delivered to students.


·         This week school bus drivers will start checking for bus stickers.  Any bus students who did not pick up their pink stickers come to the main office today.


·         Last call for students interested in the Golf team.  Any student who is interested must meet in the main office after school today for a brief meeting.


·         School Reach will have their first meeting on Friday after school in room 220.  If you cannot make it speak to Nicholas Fontes or Steven Han.


·         Our first Yearbook meeting will be Thursday after school in room 161.


·         Do you like helping a good cause?  Come down to the first meeting of OT’s Devils Do Good Club Do this Thursday after school in room 202.


·         There will be an assembly for all grade 12 students during period 2 tomorrow in the cafeteria.  This is an important assembly for all graduating students planning to attend college or university next year or still deciding on their pathway.  Teachers are asked to take attendance then bring their classes down.  If you have a period 2 spare be sure to be there.  Guidance will step students through the research and application processes as well as provide information on scholarships.
