·         The Pen Drive starts today!  During periods 3 & 4 in the atrium, we will be collecting used pens, mechanical pencils and markers that have run out of ink.  All students and staff are invited to participate and you have a week to donate.  The more you donate the more raffle tickets you get.  Recycle your used pens for a chance to win prizes and gift cards from Indigo, Metro, Kind Matter Company, David’s Tea and LL Bean.

·         Reminder to all members of the Mock Trial Team that we will be having a brief meeting today after school in room 110.

·         Attention all girls interested in playing rugby this year:  there will be a meeting after school today in the fitness center.  All grades should attend.

·         The February edition of OT’s favorite newspaper, The Devil’s Advocate is hot off the presses.  Come down to the library or check the library website for your free copy.

·         The OT Ski Team had an outstanding day yesterday at the GHAC Championships.  The Level 1 Girls, Level 1 Boys and Level 2 Girls teams all earned gold and will advance to OFSSA.  The Level 1 boys team of Matt, Thomas, Thomas, Tadas and Tyler came from behind after the morning race to secure their OFSSA position.  The Level 1 Girls team of Kate, Skylar, Charlotte, Clair and Ava narrowly beat out a very strong team from Georgetown for the win.  Our level 2 girls Elena, Sophie, Ellie and Alexa skied well in both races securing their OFSSA spot.  The Level 2 boys team of Jacob, Cole, Randolph, Kyle and Niall skied well placing second overall and Randolph Zhang blew away the Level 2 boys field winning individual gold which advances him to OFSSA.

·         Please help me in congratulating the girls snowboard team and Olivia Savage on qualifying for OFSAA Snowboarding.
