·         Yesterday was worth the drive to Acton for the Sr boys basketball team.  Under the inspired coaching of Judhis Lilly the boys won a decisive victory in their final regular season game, clinching their play-off spot.  Come support us on Monday at 4:45 here at OT.

 

·         A reminder  to all Jr boys rugby players that there is a tryout on Monday at Pine Glen from 4-5 pm.  Hand forms to Mr Schaffler.

 

·         There will be a Math Club meeting today after school in room 216.  We will be working on American Math Contest questions to prepare for the actual contest coming up next week.

 

·         Waitlist students please check the waitlist names posted in the atrium and on parking lot doors.  Students whose  name appear on this list please come to Guidance.

 

·         Do you want to make a difference this summer?  If working outdoors as a park ranger or as a camping and fishing instructor sounds like your dream summer job, get your applications in for a job with the Ontario Government

 

·         It’s the last weekend to apply for student jobs with the Ontario Public Service Ontario Place, policy, engineering and enforcement.  Check out the website at Ontario.ca/summerstudents for details on how to apply and more.

 

·         Yesterday the Varsity girls hockey team travelled to Burlington to play the MM Robinson Rams.  Robinson took the lead late in the first.  The girls did not quit but were unable to overcome the deficit, ending in a 4-2 loss.  Well done to Vanessa Hanley and Robyn Jeffries on their goals.  Great  job by Samantha Levert on her tremendous defensive effort and player of the game!
