·         All OFSAA bound snowboard athletes put in a great effort  in very icy and rough conditions.  Our high school girls team of Hannah and Niamh Reidy and Lauren McGinnis rode hard but were unable to podium at this year’s OFSAA championships.  Congrats on a great season.  We would also like to give a huge round of applause to Dillen Oliver for her first place finish in the Open girls division and to Cam Oliver for his second place finish in the Open boys division.  Thanks to everyone who came out for the snowboard team this season.

·         There will be an Intermediate Reach meeting today after school in room 220.  New members are always welcome.

·         Any boys interested in playing junior hockey for the school team are asked to attend a short but mandatory meeting today at 2:50 in room 153.

·         ECO Council is meeting at 7:45 on Tuesday morning in the Library.

·         Interested in joining a new club concerned with Equity Issues at our school?  Come to room 202 during period 3 today to see what it’s all about.  See Mr Zingano or Ms Barsauskas for further question.

·         Wednesday our Varsity boys hockey team traveled to sixteen mile creek arena to play in the quarter finals against Nelson. The boys fell behind 1-0 in the first and despite a constant attack on the Nelson goal they could not find the back of it losing 1-0 and were eliminated from further play. On behalf of the coaches Mr Gruber and Mr Hendry we would like to thank the team for a memorable season and wishing our graduating athletes success next year with their new adventures.
