·         Today is a big day, weather permitting for our Maple Grove folks;  They are using our track for their races and we are requesting students on lunch or spares to stay off the track and field.

·         Congratulations to the Sr boys, Jr boys and Sr girls rugby teams on their wins last night

·         Grade 12 students:  the Prom is less than one week away.  Please be aware that the doors will open at 6:00 pm and will close at 6:45.  Dinner will begin promptly at 7:00.  Any questions or concerns about the evening should be directed to Ms Pickard or Ms McAuley.

·         At 2:28 PM on May 12, 2008, an 8.0 magnitude earthquake struck the province of Sichuan, China.  70,000 lives were lost, 370,000 were injured and 18,000 went missing, many of them are still not found to this day.  It has been 10 years since the devastating event and our sentiments have not washed away over time.  Alas these moments  of terror shall never be forgotten for we shall always remember victims of the disaster.  For more information check out the bulletin  board on the second floor next to the main staircase.

·         Attention skiers and snowboarders:  see Mr Nags in room 104 during periods 3 & 4 to pick up your team swag.

·         There will be an Intermediate Reach meeting today after school in room 220.  New members are always welcome.

·         Coffee house is Monday May 14th.  Come out to watch OT’s talented performers and enjoy some free coffee and food.  Sign up to perform via the sign- up sheets or google form.
