It’s Friday which means Board Game Club is back.  Period 3 in room 216 come trade wood for sheep on the island of Caton, conquer Tokyo as a rampaging monster or accuse your friends of being traitorous spies in the Resistance.  Board Game Club it’s a cracking good time!


Grade 9 students:  All forms for “Take our kids to work day”  should be returned ASAP.  Where will you be on November 4th?


Students attending the Music Retreat tomorrow should meet in the front parking lot at 7:30 am.


Looking to earn volunteer hours?  Looking to make a difference in your community?  Come down to the atrium during period 3 & 4 to learn more information about the Free the Children campaign; We Scare Hunger.


We are asking the students who were unable to attend Awards Night to please come to the main office to pick up their awards.


Soldier On will be having a meeting this Monday after school in room 114.  Come by if you are interested in volunteering for a good cause.


OT’s annual Oktoberfest is starting this Monday.  We’re kicking off the week with a movie in the café.  We’ll be watching the 1998 Disney Classic Halloweentown!  Stay tuned for more events.


Yesterday the Jr girls basketball team hosted the Georgetown Rebels and held them to 20 points.  The Devils could not capitalize on their offensive attacks on the basket and lost by 2 points.


Yesterday the Jr girls field hockey team fought hard in their semi- final game against Craig Keilburger.  The girls sadly fell short by one goal losing 2-1.  Shout out to the girls for an amazing season and special shout out to Catherine Brenan for her amazing goal tending.  Also a huge thank you goes out to the amazing coaches Mrs Griffiths, Ms Cameron and Mme Lavery.


The Sr girls field hockey team lost their semi- final game in overtime to Blakelock yesterday 2-1.  Sydney Wade scored for the Devils and Jackie Carlson had a strong  game in net.  The girls had an excellent season losing only 2 games while winning 2 tournaments and scoring 43 goals while only allowing 5 goals against.  Graduating from  the team are Allie Davies, Tanis Sanders, Amanda Grice, Sydney Wade, Katie Chalmers, Paris Trebell & Captains Lauren Waldbilling and Melis Atalay.
