·         Come to the library or go onto the library website to check out the October edition of OT’s favourite newspaper, The Devil’s Advocate.  Get your copy while they are hot off the press.

·         The Ontario Student Leadership Conference is hosted in Niagara  Falls November 3rd to 5th for students from around the province.  OT has 20 spots available for interested students  who would like to go see great motivational speakers and participate in fun workshops designed to make  you into a stronger student leader.  Since spots are limited, interested students will need to complete an application form available at the math and science office ( 213) or by seeing Mr Perera or Ms Black.  Applications are due October 8th.

·         There will be a Robotics meeting Monday after school in room 163.  All members are encouraged to come.

·         Congratulations to the Athlete of the month for September: From  Varsity Girls Field Hockey; Tasha Browning.  Please come down to the phys- ed office on your lunch to have your picture taken.

·         On Wednesday the Varsity girls field hockey team played their hearts out against Abbey Park and unfortunately lost 2-1 but  continued on to win 4-0 against CKSS.  Yesterday the girls also competed at the Hayden tournament taking home 3rd place.
