·         Paid student tutors are needed in all subject areas.  If you are interested in making some money helping fellow students by tutoring then come to guidance to pick up an application form.  Tutors should be in grade 11 or12.  Completed applications are due in Guidance by next Friday.


·         Did  you buy a ticket to the UNFMLR experience on October 8th?  You must drop into the office today with your ticket to register it or you will not be admitted to the event.


·         Are you interested in biology?  Do you care about the environment?  If so help OTHS and Operation Wallacea send a research expedition to Honduras by coming to the toonie movie night on Tuesday Sept 29th at 6:00 PM in the cafeteria to see Finding Nemo.


·         Are you looking for the chance to earn volunteer hours and to support your community?  Come to Soldier On’s first meeting this Monday after school in room 114.


·         DECA application forms are due today.  Please submit your forms today to the business office if  you would like to be a part of DECA this year.


·         Attention all students that signed up for Concert Choir and everyone that forgot to sign up but would still like to join; your first rehearsal of this semester will begin today after school at 3:05 PM in the music room.  Ms Kang hopes to see  you all then.


·         Yesterday the senior boys volleyball team faced off against Frank Hayden.  Faced with the tower of power that is Malcolm Prentice the huskies had no choice but to run back to their kennels.  Special mention also goes out to Steve Bollinger for his six service run to win the last of three straight sets.


·         Just a reminder that We Day applications are due today to Mrs Richardson in room 190.


·         It’s Friday which means Board Game Club is back!  Period 3 in room 216 come and play some crazy games with some crazy people.


Yesterday the senior field hockey team hosted the Garth Web crusaders.  Despite their best efforts the Devils tied the game 0-0.  Special mention goes to Kate Chalmers player of the game
