·         Students looking to change a course are able to do so until the end of the school day on Monday.  Students wanting only to drop a course may continue to do so.


·         Attention all musicians:  there will be a meeting for students wanting to play in a band or sing in a choir this year, today after school in the music room.  It should last 30 minutes.


·         The cross country team is starting its new season.  The team welcomes students from all grades.  See Mr Palmer for permission forms in room 197.  The team starts its new season on Tuesday after school.


·         Any girl interested in playing senior field hockey this year please see Mr Groen today in room 102.  Try outs are after school every day this week.


·         All students taking on-line courses are invited to an introductory meeting in the library seminar room during either period 3 or 4 on Monday September 12th.  Please see Mrs Miles in student success if you have any questions.


·         Intramural Co-ed touch rugby and rugby 7’s is back!  All are welcome. Forms are on-line@ the rugby website or outside room 132.  We start on Friday at 7am on the field.  Return forms to Mr Schaffler.  No forms , no play!


·         Girls basketball:  first meeting is today at 3pm in room 116.  Tryouts are next week.


·         Anyone interested in playing football is welcome to come out to the back field after school.


·         Any boys interested in playing junior or senior boys volleyball, please see Ms Malloch in Learning Resources on your lunch hour today.


·         If you are interested in playing junior girls field hockey this year and you didn’t make it to the meeting yesterday, you must come to the phys-ed office during lunch today.  First practice is Monday after school.


·         Attention students interested in business:  DECA is back for 2016/2017.  We will be hosting an information session on Monday the 12th in the theatre.  All are welcome and no prior business experience or knowledge required.
