·         For all ski and snowboard team members:  this is a reminder that Smugglers Notch forms and money are due.

 

·         If you want to keep up to date on all of the events happening in the school follow humansofoths17.

 

·         There will be a Literacy test prep session during period 4 today in the main office.  Any grade 10 students or senior students who missed the session in their classes are encouraged to attend.

 

·         All students interested in curling this year are invited to sign up after school on Tuesday in room 239.  Curling forms, fees and dates will be discussed.  If you have any questions about the curling season please see Mr Wilford.

 

·         If you are in grade 11 or 12 and will be writing the Literacy test please come to the main office today to pick up your form.

 

·         The Ontario College Fair takes place tonight 5-9 PM and tomorrow 10 – 3 at Exhibition Place in Toronto.

 

·         A reminder to all grade 10 -12 boys and girls interested in going on the rugby tour to Ireland; that deposits are due by Tuesday at the end of the day.  Please see Mr Perera with questions and deposits.

 

·         Attention DECA team members:  event assignments are posted outside the business office.  Please find and bring a printed copy of a case to practice to this week’s meetings.  Practice cases can be found online at the OT DECA website.

 

·         Attention OTHS Business Club:  today is our first official business club meeting.  It will be after school in room 237.

 

·         Swim Team Announcement:  Anyone interested in joining the swim team this year must come to a meeting Wednesday at the beginning of 3rd or 4th period in room 136.  See Mrs Stearns-Brown if you have questions.

 

·         The Relay for Life Garage Sale is on October 29th.  Drop off times for the garage sale start today.  Drop off your books, rugs, games, art, bikes and other household items from 7:45 – 1-:30 and 2:30- 3:30.  Forgot to bring them today?  No worries, check out the posters around the school to see when you can bring your items in.
