·         Did you know that 200,000 Canadians go hungry every week?  You can help lower this statistic.  Free the Children’s annual We Scare Hunger campaign needs your help.  You have until the 31st to bring any non-perishable food items and used batteries to be dropped off at the Free the Children table by the atrium.


·         If you are trying out for the boys varsity hockey team please get your forms into Mr Hendry, Ms Inglese, or Mr Gruber by 2:50 today or you don’t play.


·         The Equity Club is looking for students who can share their knowledge about the Hindu festival of Diwali.  If you would like to help please come to room 202 after school on Wednesday or contact Ms Barsauskas.


·         On Friday the junior boys volleyball team travelled to Hayden, where they faced off against 20 of the best teams in Southern Ontario.  They finished pool play in first place and ultimately won the gold after two hard-fought 3 set playoff games.  Tournament MVP was Payton Travers whose tireless , powerful play was recognized by our opponents. 


·         This is a reminder that if you have not picked up your yearbook from last year- please come to the main office.


·         Just a reminder that Table Tennis club is today after school in the café.  New members are welcome.


·         Any girls interested in trying out for the Varsity hockey team must attend a mandatory meeting on Tuesday after school in the  health room.  Rep players are not eligible to play for the school team.


·         All students writing PSATs at OT – this is a reminder to arrive before  7:30 am to room 190 this Wednesday October 24th.  Please review student guide for instructions.


·         We did amazing at the Garage Sale and Bottle drive; thanks for coming and donating your items, with your support we raised over $ 3,800 towards our Relay for Life Goal.
