·         On Friday, the junior boys volleyball team travelled to Hayden to compete against the top teams in Halton.  They dominated in pool play but were tragically eliminated in the quarter finals by the eventual tourney champs.  Congratulations on amazing play by all but especially tournament MVP’s Nathan DeGroodt and Jack Maitland.


·         Did you know that food bank usage in Canada’s territories went up 52% in the last year?  This Halloween make a difference by collecting canned goods and dropping them off at the Free the Children table during your lunch until November 4th.  This Halloween help us scare hunger.


·         Attention all Soldier On members:  there will be a Soldier On meeting after school today in room 114.


·         Attention all curlers:  the first of four curling clinics start at 3:30 today at the Oakville Curling Club.  Please attend the clinics you signed up for.  All curlers must wear a clean pair of shoes as no outside shoes are allowed on the ice.  As well dress warmly in layers and no jeans are allowed.


·         Today’s the day DECA students:  it’s your multiple choice exam during period 3.  Please go to your assigned room.


·         Attention all singers:  reminder that there is choir practice today.  Any new members are welcome to join.


·         Congratulations to the OTHS cross country team for a very strong showing at GHAC last Friday.  Shout out to Soren Zamuner for placing 5th in the Jr boys division and qualifying for OFSAA.


·         Attention all swimmers:  the first practice is this Wednesday at 3:15.  Please make sure  you have joined the Facebook group for all updates and information.
