·         Today was the start of the new bus routes and times. All student should be checking for their new route times.  Any questions come to the main office.


·         Do you have any used books you want to get rid of?  Soldier On is collecting book donations periods 3 & 4 in the atrium this week, starting today.  Books  of all genres and languages are accepted, especially  textbooks and academic study guides, as well as stationery and bookmarks.  Donations will go towards supporting veterans in Canada.


·         The  Ontario Student Leadership Conference is hosted in Niagara Falls  November 3rd – 5th for students from around the province.  OT has 20 spots available for interested students who would like to see great motivational speakers and participate in fun workshops designed to make you into a stronger student leader.  Since spots are limited, interested students will need to complete an application form available at the math and science office or by seeing Mr Perera or Ms Black.  Applications are due tomorrow.


·         Come check out the October edition of OT’s favourite newspaper, The Devil’s Advocate, in the library or on the OT library website.  Get your copy while they are hot off the press.


·         There will be a Robotics meeting today after school in room 163.


·         AP Exams!  All students interested in registering for AP exams must attend a meeting on their lunch on Tuesday, in room 210.  Registration information will be given out Tuesday beginning of period 3 or 4 in room 210.


·         The Debate Society will be meeting as per usual after school in room 189A.


·         On Friday the Jr boys volleyball team travelled to STA for a tournament.  The boys showed steady improvement throughout the games, and proved to be a force only losing two sets the entire day to capture the Championship.  Strong performances from Chris Uvakov, Will Sebastian and Derek “ The Hammer” Yuan helped capture the title.
