·         Looking for volunteer hours?  If so Maple Grove is looking for former students to volunteer at their Spring Fair on Saturday May 28th.  Please check out all of the information on their school’s website, including a form to sign up.

·         Attention students participating in the Peel Debate tournament .  You must pick up your permission forms from room 118 today.

·         The Junior boys soccer team played a strong game against Garth Webb Tuesday, unfortunately the team lost a close game 1-0.  Shout out to Liam Deschamps for playing another strong game in net.

·         Varsity baseball opened their season yesterday with two decisive wins over Assumption and Aldershot, outscoring their opponents 19-0.  Nick Jaeggin crushed 2 triples on the day while Mathew O’Connel and Daniel Terlizzese combine to throw a no hitter in game 2.  Great start boys!

·         Co-op students interested in doing a placement at Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga Hospital or Queensway Health Center must pick up an application from Mrs Stearns Brown in room 136 this week!

·         Yesterday our Varsity girls soccer team traveled to Burlington to take on the Trojans of Central.  The girls came out fast and took control but found themselves down 1-0 part way through the first half.  The team continued to work and started to capitalize on their chance on route to a 5-2 victory.  Scoring for the Devils was Anastasia Wu, Anna Bremermann, Anne-Sophia Sraka and Courtney Cranmer with 2 goals.
