·         Relay for Life is hosting a bottle drive on Saturday January 14. Come and support your community, your school, and the Canadian Cancer Society. Collect your bottles with your family over the course of the winter break! Check out OTHS social media for more information about the event.

·         During Periods 3 and 4, join the Board Game Club in the cafeteria to play MarioKart! That’s right, MarioKart! And only for the low, low cost of ONE DOLLAR!

·         Today is the absolute final day to buy Candy Grams before our 5th period delivery this afternoon. We have 10 left so if that doesn’t motive you procrastinators, we don’t know what will!

·         Yesterday, our Junior Boy’s Basketball team travelled to Craig Kielburger. They started out well, leading by 8 points at the half, but succumbed to the top ranked team in the league, losing 56-49.

·         Last night our Senior Girls Volleyball Team continued their winning ways with a decisive 2 set win over Aldershot. Non-stop unreturnable hits and serves from team captain Meghan Miller and phenomenal digs by Thea White contributed to these wins.

·         Yesterday our varsity boys’ hockey team traveled to River Oaks Arena to take on the Wild of Robert Bateman.  The team came out fast and dominated the game right from the start on route to an 8-1 victory.  Scoring for the Devils was David Hayman, Jake Howden, Adam Farley, Brett Varey, Alex Pain, Niko Markakis, Kieran Morrison and David “the Junior Hamburgler” Hamburg.  In goal and recording his first regular season win was Ian Dell.  The teams’ next action is today when they travel to Burlington to take on the Patriots of Lester B. Pearson. Would teachers please excuse members of the team at 1:00 pm. Thank you and good luck Devils!
