·         Yesterday OT’s Debate team participated in the Senior Regionals Debate Tournament at Appleby College.  Congrats to India Lawrence, Nathan Feltmate, Jessica Ge, and Gillian Miller for their amazing scores, with both teams placing top 10.  Special shout out to Urmi Sheth and Navya Sheth who  placed 5th and will be advancing to Provincials.  Thank you to Lindsay Zhang for moderating and congratulations debaters on a very successful tournament.


·         Come down to the atrium during periods 3 & 4 to buy candy grams.


·         Reminder that there will be a Model UN practice today after school in room 102.


·         The December issue of the Devil’s Advocate is out.  Come get your free copy of the school newspaper from the Library today.


·         Attention all male rugby players:  there will be a meeting for all boys interested in playing rugby this year on Thursday December 13th in room 194 after school.


·         Attention all female rugby players:  anyone interested in playing girls rugby this year should come to a meeting Wednesday December 12th in the fitness center after school.


·         Rebecca’s Gift collecting has begun and will be going on for all of this week.  Please drop the gifts off in the main office.


·         Are you interested in programming?  Do you want to learn how to build apps and websites?  Come to the Computer Science Club after school today in room 125.


·         Yesterday the girls hockey team hosted Iroquois Ridge at Joshua’s Creek Arena.  The girls played a great game and came away with the 3-0 win.  Goals scored by Paige Murray, Ainsley Morrison and Katie Bouwman.  Shout out to Paige Oliver on her shut-out.  Well done to Katie Bouwman on her Player of the Game for her solid play at both ends of the ice.


·         Yesterday the Varsity boys hockey team opened up their regular season on the road in Burlington and took on the Huskies of Hayden.  The team came out fast and opened up a 1-0 lead and never looked back on route to a 3-0 victory.  Scoring for the Devils was Nic Zuliani, Grant Rieckleman and Maxim Gilbert.  In goal and recording the shut-out was Kieran Drover.
