·         Attention all students:  today Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will be hosting a National Assembly on space.  This event will allow you to explore all the potential careers in STEM and will be done through a livestream from 12:20 – 1:30 in room 139.  If you are interested attendance will be taken and those who do not have fourth period lunch will not be marked absent.  See you there.

 

·         The University of Toronto National Biology Competition is Thursday April 25th.  To register for the competition or to find out more information see Ms Proctor in room 213 by Friday, March 1st.

 

·         Badminton:  the final badminton tryout has been moved to Monday March 4th after school in gym AB.  Please come prepared to make those birdies fly.

 

·         The Relay for Life Awareness Committee invites you to join them today during periods 3 & 4 in the atrium to help promote awareness of Relay for Life.  There will be a banner for your to sign and write why you relay.

 

·         The organizational meeting for the boys Varsity Baseball has been rescheduled for Monday after school in room 216.  First full practice will be Wednesday in the gym.

 

·         If you had an Audition for the One Act Drama Festival scheduled for yesterday, because of the snow day, it has been rescheduled for today after school.  Any questions or concerns talk to Ms Muzzatti or Ms Cheeko.

 

·         Course changes for 2019 – 2020?  Please come to Guidance with parent permission between Feb 25 and Mar 1.

 

·         Anyone interested in playing Junior boys hockey; there is a meeting Friday morning at 7:45 in room 153.  All must attend.
