·         The Interact Club is planning to host Open Mic night on Thursday March 30th, but we can’t do it without your help.  A sign-up sheet is posted outside Club Connect.  Please sign up right away so we can schedule preview performances.  Any questions please see Mrs Collett in the Library.


·         Any girls interested in playing soccer for the school team this year are asked to attend a short but important meeting  TODAY at 2:50 in room 153.


·         Second floor locker work has been delayed to the weekend of March 25 and 26.


·         Only one more week until the Relay for Life bottle drive.  From 10 – 2 come to the school to support our community and Relay for Life by dropping off any empty liquor bottles.  All proceeds will be donated to Relay for Life and will help us reach our goal of $205,000.


·         Attention OT Ladies:  There is an opportunity to attend an evening workshop called “Women as Career Coaches”  at the Burlington Convention center, on Thursday March 23rd.  The purpose is to build both mentoring opportunities in  your community and inform you of post-secondary pathways.  Only 25 spots available.  Please come to room 238 for permission forms ASAP or to get more information.


·         The OT Swim team had another strong showing at OFSAA this year.  The senior boys- Ayden Tyrell, Ahmed Elmarasafawi, Paul Linden, Albert Nguyen and Mark Montague brought home silver medals in both the 200 free relay and the 200 medley relay.  The senior girls, Diana Gauthier, Emilia Landmark, Quincy deVries and Jacey Vi finished in 7th overall and both the junior boys and junior girls relay teams made it to the finals.  Well done Owen Merkley, Thomas Verth, Mohamed Elmarasafawi and Connor Maclaren for the boys and Rachel Ali, Alex Ruetz, Emily Swei and Lexi Maharaj for the girls.


In individual events, Ayden Tyrell, Ahmed Elmarasafawi, Cameron Montague and Jacey Vi all made to the A finals.

Mark Montague, Mohammed Elmarasafawi and Albert Nguyen competed in the B finals in their individual events.

The coaches would like to congratulate the team on another great season!
