  • Relay for Life is tomorrow and what comes with it is lots of fun activities!  There’s even gonna be a salsa dance lesson for beginners, both students and teachers are invited!  Later you’ll have a chance to see a special performance showcasing different latin dances! Don’t miss out!  Sign up for it today at the Relay office! And even if you don’t feel like dancing, come and see what’s the fun all about!  The lesson and performance is gonna be happening tomorrow in GYM AB at 6:30 pm. Hope to see you there!

  • Students that are participating in the Relay for Life event please come by and decorate your luminary during period 3 & 4 lunch.  When you registered you also paid for 1 luminary. All of your beautifully decorated luminaries will be displayed at relay.

  • Relay is tomorrow but that doesn’t mean that you can’t keep on fundraising!  Each participant that raises $300 will be entered in a prize draw, with additional ballots put in for each additional $300 that they raise!  You could win all sorts of amazing prizes including a pair of Blue Jays tickets, Toronto FC tickets, or a gift card to Square One. Most importantly, the top fundraiser will receive a guaranteed prize of an Apple Watch!  If you want the chance to win a prize this relay, make sure you keep on fundraising.

  • A special announcement for those students who have traditional costumes from different countries around the world!  At Relay, from 3:30 - 4:00, there will be an opportunity to participate in a “Culture Lap”! Bring your traditional costumes for this special lap!

  • All fundraising must be handed in today during periods 3 & 4 in Room 136.  If you have empty pledge forms, please go to the devil’s pit.

  • The boys varsity baseball team played 2 hard fought games against Hayden and Garth Webb to qualify for the semi-finals on Friday.  Daniel Arruda went 3 for 4 to lead the offense and strong pitching by Hayden Zweig, Robbie Gauthier, Max Lanoue and rookie Ethan Malicki held the opponents to only 7 runs.

  • If you have any fun snapchat memories or videos from this school year, please send them to OTHS YEAR END VIDEO on Instagram, if you would like them to be featured in the annual year end video played at the year end assembly.

Have you raised $300 for Relay?  Do you want your haircut? If so, let Urmi Sheth, Mackenzie Orlando, or Mariam Kheivallah know, or email othsrelayawareness@gmail.com.  As an added bonus, if your hair is more than 10 inches, it will be donated to cancer victims.
