·         Thank you to all staff and students who have currently donated to our Buyout and Fundraiser for Julia Cawse.  For those who are not aware of Julia’s situation, Julia Cawse was on her bike and struck by an SUV travelling 20 km over the speed limit.  Julia suffered from many life threatening injuries which left her unconscious for 9 weeks.  It took Julia nearly a year in rehabilitation to get herself ready to move back home with her family.  The bike accident was one of the worst in 2018 and Julia defied the odds by surviving.  The boys volleyball buyout game for Julia is today.  Those with a ticket are to come to the gym, with their ticket, at the start of period 5.  Although we only have a few tickets left, everyone is encouraged to donate to Julia’s rehabilitation fund.  All the money goes towards making her home more wheelchair accessible so she can live her life with her family.  Let’s get ready to cheer on the boys volleyball team.
