·         Happy Halloween !  If you showed up in a costume, visit the atrium today during periods 3 or 4 to obtain your free candy.  Today is also the last day to participate in candy count, so bring your loonie to the atrium to guess the number of candies in the jar.  Winners will be announced tomorrow and it could be you.


·         Tomorrow is the last day of We Scare Hunger.  Bring any non-perishable items and batteries during lunch to the main office to enter a raffle.


·         Yesterday in the rain, the annual field hockey All Star game was played.  Alexandra Levert, Tasha Browning, Katherine Muschett and Katie McCarter represented OT.  Katherine Muschett was named the game MVP. 


·         Yesterday the Jr Football team hosted Frank Hayden for their last regular season game.  Once again the Devils dominated the entire game.  On defense Russell Weir threw a touchdown pass to James Birchenough, and Ryan Keyes and Brenden Black both rushed for touchdowns.  Conor Andritsakos and Declan Helmkay both scored on defence in the 37 – 6 victory.  The Devils will host a play-off game next week so stay tuned for details.


·         Congratulations to the athletes of the month for October:  Junior girls basketball – Sophie Gilbert, Junior Cross Country – Emily DiLauro and Senior Cross Country – Sawyer Bovingdon.  Please come down to the phys-ed office at lunch today to have  your picture taken.  Be sure to check it out on Instagram OTHSathletics.


·         Attention all Math Club members:  we are having a scavenger hunt this Friday.  Sign- up sheet is posted opposite room 216, next to the math office.


·         Remember today is the last day to submit your answer to Pascal’s Perilous Problem.  Submit your full solution to the math/science office for the chance to win a prize.
