·         The OT Cross Country team participated in a wet and muddy adventure at the Charge the Hill race held at the Kelso Conservation area yesterday.  Shout-out to Sawyer Bovingdon and Emily Dilauro who were the top OTHS student athletes of the day.

·         The Ontario Student Leadership Conference is hosted in Niagara  Falls November 3rd – 5th for students from around the province.  OT has 20 spots available for interested students who would like to see great motivational speakers and participate in fun workshops designed to make you into a stronger student leader.  Since spots are limited,  interested students will need to complete an application form available at the math and science office or by seeing Mr Perera or Ms Black.  Applications are due October 8th.

·         Yesterday our Jr Girls basketball team hosted the Georgetown 87’s.  Our Devils got off to a slow start and had trouble breaking their opponents press in the first half.  OT had a much better second half but it was not enough and we lost the game by a score of 34-17.  Notable defense was show by Rachel Hamburg, Megan Spiller and Elle Gonsalves.  OT’s scorers were Tatum Martino, Aimen Habib and Sophie Gilbert.

·         All SHMS ( highs skills major) students are reminded to check their hdsb email for an important message.

·         There will be a short but important meeting for all boys interested in playing for the Varsity Hockey team today at 2:50 in room 153.

·         There will be an Interact Club meeting today after school in the library.
