·         Well done Sr girls basketball team on your win yesterday.  You came together as a team and battled to the last 8 seconds for the win.

·         The legacy of the residential schools remains.  The health of generations of aboriginal children was undermined by inadequate diets, poor sanitation, overcrowded conditions and a failure to address the tuberculosis crisis.  Tomorrow OT will be honouring the children who survived the cruel  conditions of residential school and remembering those who did not.  Wear Orange tomorrow to show your support.

·         Yesterday our Junior girls basketball team hosted the Gaetan Gervais Griffons.  Our Devils put in a solid team effort both on offence and defense, which secured a 46-10 win.  Top scorers were Sophie Gilbert, Sarah Malone and Kaitlyn Ruetz.   Aimen Habib did a great job in the key and Rachel Hamburg and Megan Spiller did a great job on the wings.
