·         It’s not too late to join the Ultimate Frisbee Club.  If you are still interested  in playing Ultimate Frisbee and have not yet signed up, come to a brief information meeting today after school in room 116.  If  you have signed up already this is a reminder practices begin next Tuesday.


·         Congratulations to the athletes of the month for March:  Senior Badminton – Keenan Qin, Junior Badminton – Malhar Singh and Junior boys hockey – Noah Westwater. Please come down to the phys- ed office at lunch today to have your picture taken.


·         All members of the Junior boys hockey team are asked to attend a short but important meeting Thursday April 13th at 2:50 in room 153.  All players must attend.


·         Attention all tennis players:  if you want to try out for the OT Tennis team you must come to a short meeting today after school.  Juniors in room 232 and Seniors in room 237.


·         Yesterday on April 10th the Canadian Battalions took Hill 145 ( the highest point on Vimy Ridge) from the Germans after the 4th Division suffered major casualties from the previous day because of how heavily defended and fortified it was.  Come down to the atrium this week and enter in our free raffle to win meaningful Vimy prizes of i-tunes and other gift cards by answering a quick skill testing question and to learn more about this important part of our history.


·         If you are interested in applying for a medical co-op at Trillium or Sick Kids hospitals please see Mrs Stearns Brown today at lunch or after school.


·         If you want to participate in Relay for Life this year, but don’t have a team please see Mrs Hanley in room 126 or Ms Piroski in room 189A.  You will be placed on a team by the organizing committee.


·         Relay for Life is right around the corner.  Want to get into the Relay spirit?  Come down to the atrium today and get  yourself a daffodil to show your support.  The minimum donation is 50 cents but we encourage you to donate what you can.


·         Regular registration for Relay for Life will be happening between April 10th – 21st for $25.  Registration will be a the Relay Office during period 3 & 4.  Only team captains can register people and they have to register their full team at once.  Get your registration done sooner rather than later and avoid the long lines.
